Always reliable Portsmouth to Caen

Booked the Portsmouth to Caen ferry again. Just like before, the process was smooth online, and the crossing was on time. Consistent service, that's why I keep coming back.

Convenient, pricey food onboard

I used Brittany Ferries for a Portsmouth to Santander ferry crossing recently. Booking the car and ferry bundle was straightforward, and I appreciated the pet friendly cabin option. The journey itself was comfortable, and staff were helpful. Only downside, the onboard dining felt a bit expensive for what it was, but overall it was a good experience.

Thinking of booking a ferry to Spain with my car, but heard a lot of bad things about other ferry companies lately. Are Brittany Ferries ships actually well-maintained and reliable?

Yeah, I've used them a few times for France and Spain, always found them pretty good. Way better than P&O for sure, those guys are a mess lol.

They're generally pretty solid. I think they're known for being a bit more 'cruise-like' than just a ferry service, so comfort and maintenance is usually a priority. Never had an issue with breakdowns or anything. And the ships to Spain are usually the bigger, newer ones.
